Case study: Low-voltage switchgear enclosures for an M&E contractor

- Client
- M&E contractor in Northern Vietnam
- Industry
- Electrical enclosures
- Product
- Low Voltage Switch Box
Challenge: the customer needed 200 low-voltage enclosures per batch, powder coated RAL 7035, delivered on the project schedule and fitting imported switchgear.
Solution: TDB reviewed the drawings (DFM), proposed a change of bend radius to remove a welding step, and built 2 samples for a trial fit before mass production.
Production: laser cutting, CNC bending, robotic welding and powder coating on one line, with dimensional and coating-thickness checks on every unit.
Result: about 30% shorter lead time than importing, and no fit-up defects on site.
